Vital Reflections For Managers – Finding Creative Solutions To Problems 

A one day workshop for managers and team leaders.

Everyone would agree with the premise, 'People are an organisation's greatest resource'.   Yet in practice, this expensive resource is frequently squandered as managers and organisational leaders struggle to successfully resolve conflict, meet goals and utilise people's strengths. 

Consequently I've developed an easy to use practical process to address this problem.  This 'Vital Reflections' process will enable managers, organisational leaders and clinical supervisors to step back from a conflictual situation and discover new perspectives that are generative of creative solutions. 

During the workshop you will be introduced to:

  • The practical skills of facilitation.
  • The strategies that will assist you to effectively manage the relational environment.
  • Ways to use the power deferential to facilitate effective decision-making processes.

Managing Conflict – Challenging Conversations 

A 2 day workshop for managers and team leaders.

Many of us take up management roles with the expectation that we will manage relationships better than our predecessors.  We believe that this is a realistic expectation as we have confidence in those life and clinical communication skills that we’ve spent years developing. 

Consequently we can feel mystified either when we get negative feedback from staff or we hear ourselves saying or thinking things that feel surprising, judgmental or out-of-character.

This workshop will provide you with the tools to effectively manage conflict by:
  • Shifting to a relational perspective.
  • Appreciating the effect of conflict on you in order to liberate yourself to resolve the conflict.
  • Negotiating participation.
  • Exposing intention and willingness.
  • Developing a platform to experiment with change.
  • Holding the organisational ’ bigger picture’ while working with differences.
